“I’m *still* miffed about not winning that painting,” Craig grumbled looking at the photograph.
“At least someone helped the charity.”
“I wanted it because you made it.”
“Why didn’t you win anyway? Don’t tell me they out bid you?” David teased.
“No. The auction ended before I was able to send my last bid.” Craig almost pouted.
“You helped the charity earn more by bidding, love,” David said encouragingly.
“Actually…I donated the amount of my last bid to them anyway.”
Blue eyes widened in surprise. “And that’s just one of the many reasons I love you,” David whispered kissing Craig.
